WOW!!! What a fun week we had at My Own New Biz Cookie Camp!!  The kids learned about being an entrepreneur and what has to happen in order to open and run a business. We made a business plan for our cookie business, used a spreadsheet geared toward the age group of the campers, visited the grocery store to learn, and later discuss, cost comparisons, marketing, supply and demand...to my surprise the kids put it in their own words and got it! We also made and packaged cookies with fabulous ribbons and ingredient cards, and had a wonderful time selling them to businesses and neighborhoods. 

I have been teaching for four years and I thought the curriculum was wonderful and very well written.  It was very easy to understand.  Anyone could pick it up and roll with it. The nice thing about My Own New Biz are the resources offered to enhance a teacher.
